As always, my favourites during vacation came to resemble my sedentary, sloth life.
1. I love seeing strong female leads and Broad City has TWO. Rather than the typical cattiness, it depicts true girl power and love and friendship which is what we all need.
2. When Broad City has me feeling too peasant and I'm feelin' fancier, I go to The Crown. Here we have another woman who literally rules and is actually the boss.
3. Schitt's Creek follows fancy people who turn into peasants -- ! This show is dumb but it's Canadian and quirky and Catherine O'hara is ๐ev๐ery๐thing.
4. For the times when I actually went outside during vacation, makeup! I had changed to Revlon Colorstay back in January/February, but the whipped formula was discontinued in Korean stores. The nerve. So I tried out the regular, liquid Revlon Colorstay Foundation. I hadn't had much success with liquid formulas in the past, but to my pleasant surprise it went on smooth rather than streaky and was easy to blend. Cool!
5. I'm thirty and I'm married and nesting and not sorry about it! Using the Today's House (์ค๋์์ง) app or website, people upload photos of their home interiors and provide sources for where you can get different products. Korean home styling is a lot like Korean fashion in that there isn't a lot of variety from the norm, but it's still fun to peruse.
