1. RuPaul's Drag Race
Once I discovered season 2 of RuPaul's Drag Race on Netflix it was the beginning of the end. Season 6 helped me through my entire flight to Canada. I can't get enough. The body positivity. The "you do you" mentality. It's just. so. good.
2. Tim Horton's Dark Roast
Before coming to Korea I drank my coffee 'regular'... one milk, one sugar... but during my most recent visit to Canada, it was too sweet. My world changed when I discovered Tim Horton's black, dark roast coffee. My students tell me that people who drink black coffee have no soul... so I guess that's my truth now.
3. Sonny Angel
I can't remember when/where/why this started for me, but I have 4 of these little dudes. There are hundreds of variations of them in different series (animals, fruits, etc)... Very cute. Very fun. Mildly creepy.
4. Innisfree Ampoule Intense Cushion
I have used this style of cream/cushion foundation/BBcream before, but found that it sat in my pores rather than covering anything up. I had given up on the entire concept until I received this one as a gift and love it~ I don't use it as my regular foundation but I keep it in my bag and use it throughout the day to touch up my make up and cover redness (from the sweltering heat). I sometimes pair it with Innisfree's Mineral Ultrafine Pact which combats shiny-ness. Whee.
5. LouiePart bat, part Dobby the house elf. His hobbies include annoying Songi (our other cat) and sleeping in weird positions: Louie!
