My last update came at the end of April.
How was that only two months ago?
So much has happened!
The weather continued to become springy and flowery~
April brought the end of contracts for some of my good friends in Korea, so we came together for a picnic in the park. First picnic for the season, last picnic for our group all together.
I hiked my first mountain (Wolchulsan) and didn't hate it.
Picked strawberries and made jam in Gunsan.
Visited a prison film set in Iksan.
Started and finished a course for graduate school (1 down, 9 to go).
Saw the lantern festival in Gwangju on Buddha's Birthday.
Went to the Rose Festival at Chosun University in Gwangju.
Celebrated another "not-quite-30-but-might-as-well-be" birthday.
Revisited my favourite beach in Korea (Myeongsashimni, Wando).
And that pretty much brings us to today.
Korean summer is just about here... you know it's full-blown summer when it becomes necessary to shower multiple times a day. I'm not quite there yet but well on the way.
I have about two weeks of classes before finals begin.
Once vacation begins, I'll have a week or two of vacation classes,
followed by two weeks of grad school,
followed by the new semester.
Yay~
