Favourites (03/04 2017)

April 27, 2017

Spring is my favourite thing along with all them spring shoooooes. I may have been a bit enthusiastic for the new season and went overboard, but I got them all not-too-expensively from Gmarket.

What's not to love about overalls !? I don't know where they've been since the 90s, but I'm so happy they're back. I got my favourite pair from H&M during a pre-spring sale and I plan to get more. They fit like a glove and are so comfortable... unless you plan on using the restroom that day. Love them.

More of a necessity than a favourite, this one helped me get through the past couple of weeks. You can get Korea's version of Theraflu (테라플루) for about $8 a box at any pharmacy. It's great if you're trying to get rid of a cold and/or want to seriously kick your dreams up a notch.

It may seem like fake news to celebrate the existence of Reese's PB Cups, but they haven't existed in Korea for the 6 years I've been here and it. has. been. rough. There was that lame stand-in chocolate bar version, but that never cut it. McDonald's also teased us last year with the Reese's PB Cup McFlurry but now we have access to the real thing. THRILLED!

I first heard about Betty Who during one of my travels through the deep pits of YouTube when I stumbled upon her cover of Donna Lewis' I Love You Always Forever. She released her second album, The Valley, in March which is full of bops like Mama Say:

I have no idea why it has taken me so long to watch Golden Girls and I have no shame in admitting that I find each of them relatable.

They sassy.

They witty.

They real.

I've lived here nearly 6 years and cherry blossom season has always been my favourite, but for some reason no one told me that cherry blossoms are amazing at night. Cherry blossoms at night have a whole different feel than they do in the busy day time. Highly recommend !
